Asbestos Removal in Reigate

The negative health effects of asbestos exposure first became apparent nearly a century ago. But most of those concerns were dismissed or swept under the rug. As the 20th century wore on mounting evidence of those health effects began to overwhelm resistance from mining companies and manufacturers of asbestos products to the point it could no longer be ignored, and in 1999 use of the material was finally banned outright in the United Kingdom.

The goal now is to remove the asbestos that was installed in homes nationwide before the ban and that's where we come in. Each one of our asbestos removal experts is rigorously trained to British Occupational Hygiene Society (BOHS) standards and boasts CITB Site Management Safety Training Scheme accreditation. When you enlist Asbestos Gone to remove your asbestos the job is in good hands.

In most cases health hazards make themselves known right away. Not so with asbestos. When asbestos-containing products are first installed they typically present very little danger (unless they are broken or otherwise compromised while being installed). However, as these products begin to break down over time they release the tiny and potentially deadly asbestos fibres into the air in greater and greater quantities to be breathed in by unsuspecting homeowners and their loved ones. Asbestos Gone can safely remove this insidious threat and allow you to rest easy.

Some do-it-yourselfers are under the impression that they can save a few quid by removing any asbestos in their home by themselves. Not so. The process of asbestos removal is an exacting one and requires a high degree of training and expertise. If someone attempts to remove asbestos on their own and makes a mistake (highly likely) they will make an already bad situation much worse.
